During my life, I've heard it "explained" a variety of ways: how the rib taken was over Adam's heart, thus pointing out how closely related he was to the resulting woman, etc. It is all speculation on a lost metaphor.

God had taken a man's rib and out of it made a woman, which was much more stupendous than cloning. From this rib, God formed a brand-new personage—a female, man's counterpart—who had the ability to reproduce and nourish a new member of the human family. The Creation of Eve, Page from a book. Question: "Why did God use Adam’s rib to create Eve?" Answer: The book of Genesis relates how God created Eve: “The Lord God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep; and while he was sleeping, he took one of the man’s ribs and then closed up the place with flesh.

Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man” (Genesis –22). From the bestselling author of Black Run comes Antonio Manzini’s mesmerizing second mystery novel featuring detective Rocco Schiavone.

Six months after being exiled from his beloved Rome, Deputy Police Chief Rocco Schiavone has settled into a routine in the cold, quiet, chronically backward alpine town of Aosta: an espresso at home, breakfast in the piazza, and a morning joint in.

This is the "FINAL PROOF" that Bible contains information from the lost super-civilisation. Quite simply look at Adam's Ribs. The story goes that Adam's rib. Shouldn’t she then also have Y chromosome and shouldn’t she be Adam’s clone. Answer by Diane Eager.

Genesis tells us God created Eve using material taken from Adam’s side. (Genesis ) The Hebrew word for what was taken from Adam is tsela’ (Strong’s H), traditionally interpreted as “rib,” and this is a reasonable interpretation. If you place your hand on your side you feel ribs, and ribs are.

Had Eve been created from the man’s rib alone, Adam would only have been able to say that she was “bone of his bone.” As Adam’s bone and flesh, the woman is the man’s “other half.” When man and woman cleave to one another and return to being “one flesh” (), the two equal halves of humanity are brought back together.

The day that God created woman from the rib of Adam was also on the sixth day. What happened in the first six days of creation is stated in Gen and further expounded in Gen A mystery was revealed when God made a woman (Eve) from the rib of Adam.

According to this statement, human cloning is acceptable until a specific reason if found for it to be forbidden. In the Bible, Eve was created from Adam's rib without any sexual relations. This gives us the impression that if God can create a human without any sexual relation it.

The account of Eve is an interesting and important segment of our genetic history. The Bible says that God put Adam into a deep sleep, took one of Adam’s ribs, and made a woman (Genesis ).

Adam named her Eve and proclaimed that she was “bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh” (Genesis ). You can see science clearly in Genesis. They took from Adam's rib to get to the cell nucleus their they can then clone.

The word serpent comes from NSHS it. my few understanding is that yeah eve is a kind-of-clone but she was made different to help adam as it is written God put adma into a deep sleep and took one of his ribs and made a women who when adma woke-up call her eve because she is bone of his bone but why even was not made from the mud like adma I do not why but I keep studying and the only proof or truth is how great like adma.

When we look at the Woman (Eve), we find that God took the rib/side (Hebrew: tsela), but built a new person—with new DNA and all. I can say with confidence that we know that Eve wasn’t a clone because she was female.

She had different sex chromosomes (XX) as opposed to Adam’s XY. If she had the same DNA, they would have both been males. Directed by George Cukor. With Spencer Tracy, Katharine Hepburn, Judy Holliday, Tom Ewell. The rib bone is also the only bone in the body that can heal and regenerate itself which means that taking out a rib from Adam would not make him less one rib bone as that will soon be.
